Screw Piles were used in the early 1900’s and are once again back in use. In the last 20 years, there has been substantial and steady growth in the use of screw piles in civil construction.

They can be installed quickly with minimal noise and vibration, wound to the ground in an efficient manner without causing any disturbance to the soil and that eliminates time and cost in soil removal. The Piles are a great option for deep foundations such as transmission/Telecommunication towers as well as lighter load projects such as decks and fences.

How Steel Screw Piles Work:

Piles are an environmentally friendly option with the most flexibility and fastest installation comparing to other foundations. To install them we don’t need pre excavation and therefore no need for disposing of tailings.

How are they installed?

We are experienced in installing Piers in almost any condition including rocky soil. The Pile is screwed into the soil by a hydraulic attachment to a range of size machines; bobcats, and excavators, depending on the requirements. No soil excavated or removed from the site as the installation is done without vibration, limiting soil contamination. Once the piles are in the ground they remain in place permanently and they are filled with concrete.

Pilling Screw Piles are produced in Australia and are fully compliant with the Australian Standards AS159-2009.
